Your Chemistry Lab Progression

Your Chemistry Lab ProgressionLabile chemistry is what I call a chemistry that can be worked on. This could be any chemistry except for the two that have high levels of reactivity and are high-energy molecules. You might be thinking that some of the labors in the world are simple labors. Well, some of them are. You could even have them as you go through college. Some of the labors are given out as part of the student development programs. These will allow students to work with chemistry in a way that they could never do in the real world. It may take the student a little bit of time to get used to laboring in a lab, but there will come a time when they will realize how easy it is to do chemistry. There are also potential labors. These labors that you have to work your way up to. The labors are not necessarily the ones that you are making easy for yourself. The labors that you have to work on are more important than the ones that you could work on once you reach the big bucks. Those labor s are the ones that give you the ability to make money and to do great things in your life. For example, let's say that you do not know how to cook.Once you go through the labors, once you learn how to cook, then you could have all the luxuries that you could ever dream of. You could work from home and start a business, or you could get a more traditional job at a fast food restaurant. There are many potential labors that you could work on once you go through college. As long as you get them all the way through, then you are going to have an incredible life ahead of you. Now is the time to think about getting them all.

AIDS Awareness

Knowing Your StatusHIV/AIDS Awareness Photo by Trygve.u via Flickr.com September 27, 2012 was National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The PRIDE agency on campus held HIV/AIDS testing for any gay male who wanted to get tested. Testing was done at PRIDE’s LGBTQ Resource Center, located at the Union second floor room A211. People from Thagard and Leon County came to test. Testing was done between  on September 27th  on September 27thfrom 1pm- 4pm. All tests were rapid 20 minute tests, so you don’t have to wait so many weeks wondering the worst. As an incentive for getting tested as well those who were tested were given a $5 gift card to a business of choice. A $5 gift card  shouldnt  be what brings gay men in to get tested however. Gay men should want to know their status. It’s like getting that yearly physical. It’s not pleasant, but it’s all for a better living quality. It is one of my beliefs that knowledge is power. The more we know the more we can do. HIV/AIDS testing  isnt  something to worry about. It is an examination, one that can help you in the long run. In this life there are many things we are worried about, things we know nothing about. One thing we can know is our own status. The process is painless. Depending how you get it done. At PRIDE’s LGBTQ Resource Center they were doing rapid testing. A 20 minute wait is the max you would wait. You just had to fill out some paper work, swab your gums with special swab that will show if you’re negative or positive. It’s quick and easy. PRIDE is an agency for Florida State University as a part of Student Government. It works towards educated and helping any in regards to LGBTQ issues. They are mostly known for the drag show they put on every first Friday of the fall and spring semester. Yet,  theyve  do more than that. Such as free HIV testing that was held on September 27th.  They have done free HIV/AIDS testing regularly at their resource center before. Next month they plan a week of events for Coming Out Week, in celebrating National Coming Day. Also, they host an Alternative Prom every spring for those who  didnt  spent their prom in high school the way they wanted to. Simply by knowing your status and keeping up with it can change many lives. Knowing is just half the battle. If you know what something is you know how to deal with it. It’s no longer a boogie man in the shadows.

Organic Chemistry Tutor Functional Groups and Structures

Organic Chemistry Tutor Functional Groups and StructuresThe organic chemistry tutor functional groups and structures class have a relatively short syllabus, usually lasting two years. This means you are able to get more and better advice and can also do a lot more than one year of study in this course. However, before even starting the first module you must have completed two years of full-time studies and then taken at least one year of organic chemistry and biological chemistry and have some understanding of the physics involved.Organic chemistry has been designed to make understanding and working with functional groups and structures easier and at the same time it will give you an idea of what is involved in the entire study. As well as knowing the chemical structures, structures are involved in everything we do from catalysis to genetics. They are vital to many aspects of life. Therefore, understanding the materials will be important if you are to be successful in any career. The concepts, such as solvent, isomers, reactivity, bonding, and vibrational transitions will all have to be understood if you are to work with the physical properties of chemical compounds and understand how they combine together to produce complex products. In a future career, you may find that your education includes understanding how to create these products, using different reactants to change the molecules and then with different ways of combining these compounds to make new compounds. At the end of it all, you have to know what properties you need to understand and then how to use that knowledge to create the compounds. The function of functional groups are very important. There are a number of important chemical reactions that rely on their interaction with one another and to create various materials. For example, different base, land, polar and neutral groups combine together to form various molecules that can both react with one another and interact with each other to form diff erent combinations of components. Understanding these mechanisms will allow you to find new ways of combining different compounds. The organic chemistry tutor functional groups and structures will begin with a brief description of what a group is, the meaning of the group structure, the relationship between the group and the molecule and then go on to describe how various groups work in combination. On this first module you will not learn about what groups are or how they are used, however. This will come in the second module. During this module you will have learnt about the chemical bonds between the atoms of the compound, how the group forms, how to relate the structure of the group to the molecule, the functions of the group and the way that they interact with one another. The group will also provide a link between the structure of the group of which the structure is a part. The properties of a group will give you an idea of how certain bonds form and also where they come from. Kn owing what bond forms and where they form will help you understand why a particular chemical will react in a certain way and with the other compounds.Following this module, the group will include more information about the chemistry of groups and the role of a simple molecule such as a sugar or a nitrogenous compound. Understanding this information will help you understand the chemistry of other materials and know what uses to make the compounds.

7 Proven Strategies to Help You Ace Your Next AP French Exam

7 Proven Strategies to Help You Ace Your Next AP French Exam Sign up successful Note, that these study strategies can also be used when preparing for the  International Baccalaureate French exam. 7 Study Tips to Help You Nail Your AP French Exam 1. Create a study plan While it might seem a little soon, start studying two to three months before the AP French exam. The more time that you leave for review, the less time you should have to review each day. Consistent repetition is ideal for learning a language. Set aside 30 minutes a day to review a specific grammar subject; for example, agreement, prepositions, and articles. 2. Review important French conjunctions While it’s important to know the basic conjunctions, such as mais (but) and lorsque (when), it’s a good idea to start reviewing those special constructions that will you set you above your peers. Coordinating conjunctions for emphasis: ne…ni…ni (neither…nor) and ou…ou (either…or). Also, pay attention to those special conjunctions that are used with the subjunctive tense, such as quoique (even though). 3.  Practice conjugating regular verbs and commonly occurring irregular verbs Make sure that youre  familiar with the conjugations of the three different verb groups: -er, -ir, and -re.  Also, be sure to you know the conjugations of être and avoir. These are  two verbs that you will encounter when conjugating not only the simple tenses of present, imperfect, and future, but also as a helping verb when writing in the passé composé and plus-que-parfait. Keep in mind that when using the passé composé with étre, there needs to be subject agreement. For example,  Elles sont allées au cinéma. (They went to the movies). This is a group of women, so you must add an e and an s for agreement. 4.  Listen to French podcasts and the radio One of the best ways to prepare for your AP French exam or to simply maintain your French comprehension is by listening to podcasts. Set aside five to ten minutes, ideally in the morning so that youre  able to start thinking in French without all the distractions of the day. Most French podcasts offer different levels, but you should be listening to ones at the highest levels. I recommend Coffee Break French because it’s quick and easy with the structured time frame. More authentic listening is ideal, so just tune into French radio. Most can be streamed online or via  your phone. 5.  Watch French movies without subtitles There are a ton of American movies that you can stream in the French language. When watching, try not display the subtitles because they do not always coincide with what is being said on the screen. Rather, sit back and watch the movie! If you need some help finding  what to watch, browse through these two posts for some great options: Find the Best French Movies on Netflix Now 12 Classic French Movies (and Movie Series) All Students Need to See 6. Talk to your friends Use your readily available sources. Youre  most likely going to be in a classroom with other anxious students preparing for the AP French exam. Gather a group of students together and set aside 30 minutes to discuss a topic. It could be something that is  pre-determined, such as a movie that everyone watched. Or it could be something more relaxed, such as speaking in French over lunch. 7. Remember to relax This is the most important part of test preparation. Relax. You’ve prepared for months. Do something that you enjoy. Sleep well. Eat a healthy breakfast. Put yourself in a positive mind-set. Cramming last minute benefits no one. So, just know that youre  prepared and you will succeed! Good Luck! Now that  you have some proven methods for success, go tackle your AP French exam with confidence. Post Author:  Jinky B. Jinky B. teaches  French lessons in Jacksonville, FL.
